Are World Of Lofts experienced specialists in loft conversions?
Yes, we have over 20 years loft conversions experience and our team is second to none. World Of Lofts know that, as a Company, you are only as good as the team carrying out the work and, with a team of dedicated professionals who've been with us for years include Master Builders, Architects, Plumbers and Electricians. Furthermore, a dedicated Contracts Manager will oversee the whole project from start to finish giving you the best results on time and on budget. In fact this formula has worked so well for us that we don't really advertise much as most of our work comes from personal recommendation from our previous customers!
Can I see a completed conversion?
Of course, we think its the only way to truely get feel for what your loft can become! We recommend that anyone thinking of having an World Of Lofts loft conversion done should see what we've already done from a recent or on-going conversion at the home of one of our satisfied customers who has a similar sized loft to the one your thinking of having converted.
What about Planning Permission and Building Regulations?
Some conversions require Planning Permission and all have to adhere to strict Building Regulations. The quote you receive will include the preparation and submission of Plans to your local authority. We serve the appropriate notices and liaise with the authorities on your behalf - proving you a hastle free experience.
How long will it take to convert my loft?
We complete building work for a typical loft converstion in about 3-4 weeks and larger lofts 4-8 weeks and depends on the type and size of your conversion and the interior works you choose to have done.
How quickly can work commence on my loft?
Generally, we would start work within one month of planning permission (if required) being obtained.
What sort of disruption and mess should I expect whilst the Loft Conversion is being done?
We keep any disruption to the householder to a minimum, and apart from a bit of dust and noise, much of the initial construction takes place from outside your property.
